First Look Preview: who it is for—and who it is not

Clear eligibility rules for First Look Sites’ private website preview offer—without hype or unlimited free design.

By Nirmal Lashkari5 min read

First Look Preview exists to reduce risk on qualified website projects. You review a private website direction before the agreed project payment is due. It is not a free unlimited design service and not available for every request.

Typically a fit when

  • You are a local professional (dentist, agent, lawyer or similar) in a tier-1 market
  • You need a custom practice website, not a one-page experiment
  • Goals, audience and offer can be clarified in discovery
  • You can review a private preview and give structured feedback
  • Written preview scope is agreed before production starts

Usually not a fit when

  • Scope is undefined or constantly changing without decision makers
  • The request is only for unpaid speculative concepts across many vendors
  • Budget is far below a professional custom build
  • Complex integrations require deposits for third-party costs before preview
  • Timelines ignore review and content readiness

Availability is confirmed after discovery. Third-party costs, premium assets and complex integrations may require an approved deposit. Preview slots are limited each month.
